Frequently Asked Questions

What EXIF data is shown?

Camera make, model, exposure time, aperture, ISO, focal length, GPS coordinates, date/time, software, orientation, and more.

Does this work with PNG files?

EXIF metadata is primarily a JPEG/TIFF feature. PNG files rarely contain EXIF data. Use this tool with JPEG or TIFF images.

Is this the opposite of Strip EXIF?

Yes. EXIF Viewer reads and exports the metadata, while Strip EXIF removes it for privacy. Use them together to review then strip.
